23. bis 27. September 2026
mit Konrad Alverdes und Team in Georgien

The prenatal dynamics of the umbilical connection and the postnatal experience of attachment lay the foundation for our relationships with the world and with others. Birth, which prepares us for the change from one to the other, takes place in between these two very different ways of connection.

Redemption from painful, repetitive relational patterns is often only possible by meeting and acknowledging these early imprints. Regardless of our individual circumstances, many of us are born in clinical settings and raised in accordance with the rigid values of that era. This can leave deep relational wounds. These wounds must be recognized and understood. Our contact must speak to the experience of the child to find out what was needed at the time. In this exploration, healing insights may emerge.

The content of this seminar includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Support, space, pacing, use of voice and touch when approaching early experiences
  • Process-oriented sessions in pairs and groups of three
  • The first breath
  • Approaching the dynamics of foetal umbilical blood supply through contact with the ligamentum teres hepatica, ligamentum venosum and ligamenta umbilicalia mediale.
  • Umbilical affect
  • Understanding and supporting processes of ignition.
  • Types of attachment according to John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth
  • Exploring patterns of attachment and finding support for one's own impulses.
